WELCOME TO NOAHS'S PARK ANIMAL RESCUE
We are local to Austin, Texas and are a growing grass roots non profit established to provide permanent husbandry and health care to neglected, abused, injured, orphaned or abandoned animals in our city and surrounding areas.
We are a barn style pack of misfit and broken animals living and working together. We work to fulfil each others needs by supporting each other, our community and the next one in need that comes along. We have aspirations to grow into many rescue and therapy support programs in the future and appreciate all of your love and support in helping us realize our dreams and goals.

Medical
Facility
Some animals, due to size and medical needs, are required to travel hundred of miles to receive the care they require. Common farm animals and exotic species alike do not fit into normal CT or X-Rey machines, out weigh and out size surgical facilities, and often are left with few to no options to receive the specialized care they need.
A horse in Austin might have to travel to Dallas for special surgery.
A goat in Leander might have to travel to College Station to have her life saved.
The medical facilites we plan to build and establish will primarliy be used for the onsight residents, however, the medical facility will be part of our self sustaining initiative. The medical facility will be open to the public for resource use and offer specialized diagnosics and testing, surgical suits and species specific equipment. The medical facility will be self sustaining and generate its own operational costs and expenditures by remaining partially open to the public as a species specific medical resource.
X-Ray
Most large animal practices have a portable X-ray machine that can be used for examining animals in the field. However, when better quality images are needed, the animal is usually referred to a specialist practice with species specific equipment, mounted units and high quality imaging machines.
We want to be that local resource for our community offering three high quality options: small portable units, mobile units, and mounted units.
Surgery Suits
Large animals require large operating tables, conversely an animal weighing only a few ounces obviously would require vastly different sets of equipment.
We are aiming to be uniquely capable of providing solutions with our instruments, equipment and sterilized suits available to the public. We aim to provide both small exotic specie and large animal operating room and equipment.
3 Tesla MRI
Known to be the most advanced diagnostic imaging tool available. This safe, non-invasive procedure allows more complete viewing of the body than any other modality, yet there are a handful available in the country for use in animals.
We want to provide this capability as routine offerings and greatly expand animal access to non-invasive diagnostics.
Standing CT Machine
There are only a handful of these machines available across the entire U.S. They accurately diagnose and treat complex diseases in the neck and skull of equine patients and large animals. They have been quoted as being called an "extreme diagnostic modality" due to the lack of availability. We want to change that and have routine availability for animals in need and be a local resource that prevents "extreme travel" while an animal is ill or injured.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a safe, rapid and non-invasive way to gather more information to piece together the puzzle of an animal’s health. This will also be used in practice with our birthing center and we hope to have both mobile and stationary high quality machines to be able to provide access where ever the animal can be seen.
We want to provide easy in- and outpatient diagnostic imaging with results available immediately.
Anesthesia
There is an entire work up done prior to all access to services requiring sedation by a board certified veterinarian/anesthesiologist.
We of course, want to have this tool available for use when needed. Some animals or procedures will require it
