Mule mouth...
My name is Pebbles and I am really shy gal but underneath I am oh so sweet.
I spend my days with the Noah's Park Pack leisurely hanging out with my horsey friends.
I am working on handling and trusting humans but I will get there, I just know it.
I am pretty hardy as most of my species tend to be, however, my teeth and hooves regularly need attention on top of my monthly and yearly ablutions!
My spirits are always high and I take each day as it comes. I am super curious with a healthy mixture of caution and I can not wait till the day that all my fear is nothing but an illusion.
I enjoy stomping the yard, grazing on my hay and hanging out with some of my best pals Genny and Mango.
We are all so grateful to lead the life we do, and when our handling training is through we hope to be eating out of the palm of your hand.
Thank you for taking the time to read my short bio, we appreciate all of your support.

Mules are sterile... because they can't make sperm or eggs. They have trouble making sperm or eggs because their chromosomes don't match up well. And, to a lesser extent, because of their chromosome number. A mule gets 32 horse chromosomes from mom and 31 donkey chromosomes from dad for a total of 63 chromosomes

Although the average lifespan for mules is between 35 and 40 years, some mules have been known to live until 50, especially if well looked after.
